Thomasville Mayor Sheldon Day recently announced that a Wendy's location is coming to the city. 

Day did not spare exact details about when a grand opening will take place but said that it would be "soon."

The Wendy's in Thomasville will be owned by franchisee Carlisle’s subsidiary Wendelta that operates over 160 Wendy’s restaurants in the Southeast from Alabama to Texas, Florida, Louisiana to Tennessee. It is based in Memphis. Wendelta owns the Wendy's in Evergreen and Andalusia.
