West AlabamaWorks!, Shelton Community College to host WOW 2.0 on April 6

West AlabamaWorks! and Shelton State Community College will host WOW 2.0 for high school seniors on April 6 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 

The event will function as an opportunity for high school seniors to meet with industry professionals and make connections to be potentially hired for work in the future. 

“The goal of WOW 2.0 is to reduce the number of job fairs industry attends by maximizing this one event to find desired talent,” said Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama COO and West Alabama Works Executive Director Donny Jones.

Additionally, a signing day to honor students who have have entered apprenticeships and obtained jobs through WOW 2.0 will be held on April 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa Career and Technology Academy.
