On March 5 the annual wreath laying ceremony is scheduled to be held at the Southern Poverty Law Center's (SPLC) Civil Rights Memorial Center to honor John Lewis and those who were killed for voting rights.

The ceremony will feature remarks from SPLC interim president and CEO Bryan Fair, SPLC interim chief of staff Lecia Brooks, and U.S. Rep. Nikema Williams of Georgia.

The free event at 2 p.m. will align with the Selma Bridge Crossing Jubilee.

The Civil Rights Memorial Center is located at 400 Washington Avenue.
