Ozella Brasher Beckham, age 94 of Moundville, passed away on April 24, 2024 at Moundville Nursing Home. A graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville with Magnolia Chapel South directing.
She is preceded in death by her husband Oscar C. Beckham, Jr., son; Donald R. Beckham, her parents; Harrison and Frances Brasher, son-in-law; Richard McCray, two brothers and two sisters.
Ozella is survived by her daughter, Lana McCray, daughter-in-law; Carolyn Beckham grandsons; Brandon McCray (Mary Beth), Donny Beckham, Brian Beckham, great grandchildren; Lana Elizabeth, Mary Evelyn, and Kyson Scott McCray, all of whom she loved dearly.
Ozella loved being outdoors. She loved feeding her hummingbirds everyday and sitting out on her front porch.
Ozella worked at the University of Alabama social work building for many years. Later on in life, she enjoyed volunteering at Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa.
She was a faithful women of God , who loved her church and her Sunday school class. She loved her family and will be truly missed by all.
