Troy, Alabama - Robert W. Gramley, a Christian man and US Air Force veteran, died February 17, 2024. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, First Baptist Church, Troy, AL.

Born June 17, 1946, in Aaronsburg, he graduated from Penns Valley Area High School in 1964, and joined the USAF. He earned a bachelor's degree from Troy University. He retired in 1986 as SMSGT and moved to DeFuniak Springs, FL. Robert relocated to Troy, AL, in 2017. An avid mechanic and carpenter, he also enjoyed spending time quilting with his wife. He enjoyed music, traveling, and spending time with family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Wolfe & Tammie Stover Gramley, sister, Lorraine Cato. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Foye Givens Gramley; daughters: Alysia, Alyson, Alyene Calvo (Favenzio); grandchildren: Meredith, Favenzio Andres Calvo, & Robert Blaine Calvo; sisters, Ruth (Ed) Besecker, Ethel Rote, & brother, Russell Gramley (Delores). He has many treasured nieces, nephews, and chosen family members near and far.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Women's Sewing Group at St. John's Lutheran Church, Milheim, PA.
