Alabama 4-H recently released its report detailing the activities of its youth members. 

The report is divided up into three categories: natural resources, citizenship and leadership, and animal sciences. 

In natural resources 86,104 youths took part in natural resources and environmental education, and caught 24 different species of native fish from 41 different public water bodies and 16 private ponds during the Biggest Catch Contest.

In the second category there were 25,019 youths that took part in citizenship and leadership activities and 3,146 youths and participated in 4-H community service projects.

In animal sciences 842 youths participated in small animal programs, 460 youths participated in Chick Chain and poultry projects, and 228 youths raised 456 market hogs through the 4-H Pig Squeal Project.
