Works of Faith: It only looks right

Proverbs 14:12(NIV): “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end, it leads to death.”

There is always the internal and external analysis of right vs wrong and in today’s times we struggle with doing what is right and compromising to do wrong and calling it right. There are different motivations that lead to going down the wrong road and telling society that it is right, but it only looks rights. It is a deception sent from the devil himself.

It will kill, steal, and destroy. That is the objection and if you say anything in question, or opposition, you will be ostracized and attacked. But we are learning through Sunday School; we have not the spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. If you watch tv we see small-town America as a quiet robust community that is quaint and wholesome, but it only looks right. But the way of death comes into existence when it is shown to be a potential ghost town with dirty deeds, corrupt politics and policies, and city infrastructure that has the accounting practices of Bedrock. It is only looking right but the ignorance occurs when things told to look and sound right but it is all wrong. It leads to moral decay, financial ruin, and leads to a history of spiritual wickedness.

SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES is a nonfiction account of what these things are, why they are here with us, how we are made vulnerable to them, and what power we have to face them in combat of willpower and win. Everything is about positioning. In order for evil to take over, evil people must occupy spaces of influence and power.

When you do not pray and seek God’s guidance then you will lean to your own understanding and that is what the devil is counting on! Make no mis take; everything is intentional and by design. We choose to be ignorant. It happens in church es, communities, and systems.

There is a way that seems right to man but the evil person will make sure that it looks right because they are part of the legion to destroy you and ultimately kill you (road to death). For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against a spiritual wickedness in high places as found in Ephesians 6:12. This thing is real. I deal will it every day in my home, church, marriage, family, and town. You can stay sleep and think it will just “go away” but this kind must be worked out by prayer and fasting. It is time to take an inventory of motives and agendas. It only looks right and will open up in prayer to do wrong because the agenda only spot lights evil. Because if God was to be satisfied the actions would be different and the road would not lead to death but to life, that is why Jesus said I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Watch the signs, watch the politicians, and watch what is made to look right. We do not have to stay in darkness nor ignorance. In Romans 12:2, Paul wrote about being transformed by the renewing of your mind. We must change and get off the road leading to death. Some leaders are on a suicide mission and seeking to take you with them in death under the disguise of progress and good intentions, but their minds are far from it. Remember it only looks right!
