Selma Team Outreach Ministry and Prayer, also known as S.T.O.M.P. will host its 12th Annual Praise and Unity Celebration on Oct. 7.

“Prayer is always in order for prayer can go where we cannot go and prayer can do what we cannot do. Come let us pray together," said Selma Mayor James Perkins in a press release.

Perkins proclaimed Oct. 7 as Citywide Day of Prayer to be led by S.T.O.M.P.

S.T.O.M.P founder Annie Towns said, “with the help of others, there is power when we work together. Unity with others enables us to broadcast God's greatness”.

The event will be held at Phoenix Park located on 1207 Water Avenue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
