With the completion of Week 6, the football season is halfway through. Here are this week's scores from across the Black Belt.

Morgan Academy 44, Bessemer Academy 0

Morgan Academy was off to the races after registering a 55-yard touchdown pass and a 60-yard rushing touchdown within 15 minutes of taking the field.

Chambers Academy 27 Lowndes Academy 0

Lowndes gave up a safety in the first quarter and scored in every quarter to take down Lowndes.

Southern Choctaw 14, Linden 8

The teams did all their scoring in the first half, with Southern Choctaw's Brody Welford recovering a Linden fumble for a touchdown in the first quarter and Christopher Bush adding a 25-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter before Linden scratched with a passing touchdown.

Victory Christian 21, Francis Marion 14

Down 14-6 at the half, Marion rallied to tie the game at 14 with a 6-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter, but couldn't keep Victory Christian from scoring the go-ahead 4-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. 

Trinity Presbyterian 34, St. James 28

Land Sharpless completed 13 of 19 passes for three touchdowns with one interception and 223 yards as the Wildcats held off the Trojans. Tillman Clements had 19 carries for 229 yards and two touchdowns and caught three passes for 42 yards and another touchdown, while Reed Daniel caught a 53-yard touchdown and Allen Schroll hauled in a 30-yard touchdown in their only catches of the game. Wilson Cherry recorded 17 tackles, and Luke Hall added 10.

Sipsey Valley 20, Marbury 19

Sipsey Valley scored first, on a 3-yard rushing touchdown by Isaiah Bennett, but got tied up 6-6 on a 37-yard rushing touchdown by Marbury's Kason Chapman. Bennett then put Sipsey ahead again on the next series with a 27-yard touchdown, but Jeremyah Williams returned the ensuing kickoff for a 75-yard touchdown to knot the score again, 13-13. Sipsey came from behind for the win after Williams opened the third quarter with a 60-yard touchdown, scoring a 2-yard touchdown and making an extra point.

Demopolis 34, Aliceville 12

Demopolis went up 14-6 in the first quarter after spotting Aliceville a 6-0 lead and eased to the big win.

Southside 56, Keith 12

Ellwood Christian 20, Hayneville Central 18

Greensboro 23, R.C. Hatch 0

Luverne 48, Montgomery Academy 45

Greene County 42, Sumter Central 6
