Mizzou volleyball wasn't the only team scoring wins over Arkansas on Friday.

Before the Tigers defeated the Razorbacks on the court, coach Eli Drinkwitz & Co. scored a commitment from 4-star linebacker JJ Bush, who decommitted from Arkansas on Monday after originally committing on July 2.

Bush officially visited Mizzou on May 30, which was one of three OVs he took during the summer. He also visited Miami (Fl.) and LSU in June. Bush held offers from Florida, Michigan, Ole Miss and numerous other power conference schools.

According to 247, Bush had 69 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, six sacks and an interception for Theodore High School in Alabama. At running back, he logged 344 rushing yards and six touchdowns.

Bush is the 13th commit in MU's Class of 2026 and the second linebacker, joining 3-star Keenan Harris from St. Louis. He's the third Mizzou commit over the past eight days — JUCO defensive end DeMarcus Johnson committed on Sept. 25, while defensive end Micah Nickerson pledged on Sunday.

Arkansas has now seen 13 players decommit from its Class of 2026, seven of which have decommitted since former UA coach Sam Pittman was fired Sunday following a 56-13 Razorback loss to Notre Dame. The loss was Arkansas's worst at home since 2020.
