The Selma-Dallas County, Alabama, Economic Development Authority has a new leader in 2026. After 24 years, the former director Wayne Vardaman retired and taking over this important position is Brenda Tuck, someone who has a long history in the Selma area and economic development in the Black Belt. In this Voices & Visionaries, we learn about Tuck, where she came from and her vision for the future of the Dallas County EDA.
