Farmers Markets in the Black Belt

Summer is the time for Farmer's Markets.

Here's where you can find one near you in the Black Belt:

Greensboro - the summer season runs June 5 through July 31 every Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at 1102 South Street in Greensboro. The market features a variety of seasonal offerings from area farmers and producers, including fresh produce, honey, flowers, eggs, baked goods, and more.

Camden - on the bypass Highway 10 on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. starting June 7 through August.

Demopolis - Open starting June 7 and then Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the public square. Sign up by calling 601-917-8661 or email demopolismarket@gmail.com

Orrville - Open at the Farmer's Market on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in June through September.

Pine Apple - East Wilcox Farmers Market on County Road 59 held on Thursdays from 7 a.m. to noon in July through November.

The Selma Farmers Market will be open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Nov. 3.

Thomaston - Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon on Second Avenue from June to August.

Uniontown - Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7 to 11 a.m. More information at 100 Front Street from May 29 through Nov. 15.
