The Alabama Department of Senior Services (ADSS) is taking nominations for its 2026 Alabama Senior Citizens Hall of Fame.

The ADSS is looking for "outstanding" senior citizens who are over the age of 60 who have made contributions in their communities.

"Those selected as Permanent Members of the Hall of Fame are formally honored and recognized for their selfless advocacy and dedication of service to others at an official ceremony held in Montgomery each year," said a description from ADSS.
