The Dallas Wilcox Bama Club handed out $45,000 in scholarships to high school seniors from Dallas and Wilcox counties who are going to The University of Alabama in the fallduringa special ceremony on May 9 at Cornerstone Presbyterian.

Several Alabama National Alumni Association members attended the ceremony, includingExecutive Director of the National Alumni Association Jimmy Warren and his wife Emily, National Alumni Association President Nancy Siniard and Director of Alumni Affairs Kayla White.Â
The special guest speaker was Chris Stewart, the voice of Alabama football and basketball. Bama Club President Ronnie Leet said Stewart spoke about his experiences interviewing former Alabama Head Football Coach Nick Saban. He also spoke about how well adjusted the new coach, Kalen Deboer, is and how well he fits in. Stewart spoke on Alabama basketball too. Â
