SelmaHigh School's Future Business Leaders of America chapter joined thousands of middle school, high school, and collegiate members across the country to celebrate national FBLA Week Feb. 9-15.
Events recognize the connections FBLA forms among its members and emphasize how FBLA prepares its members to be community-minded business leaders. National FBLA Week activities include online panels, informational interviews with FBLA partners, and a nationwide fundraising challenge to support the Alzheimer’s Association.
FBLA Week falls during National Career & Technical Education Month, which highlights the impact of career and technical education (CTE) on student success, workforce development, and the economy.
FBLA Membership Director Lisa Smothers said, “FBLA Week is all about celebrating the powerful impact career and technical education has on our students, both in and beyond the classroom.”
