The Alabama School of Healthcare Sciences and the ASHS Foundation held a topping out ceremony on Thursday at the Demopolis site to recognize completing the initial phase of construction of the statewide high school that will trains teens in healthcare fields.

The construction team led by Brasfield & Gorrie marked the placement of the final structural beam at the top of the academic building that is part of the 10-acre campus.
