It’s not always guaranteed that a Real Housewives season is going to hit off the bat, but The Real Housewives of Rhode Island has been slaying since the very first episode premiered back in April. The drama and romantic storylines are top-tier Bravo television, and 20 years into the franchise, that’s saying something!
Bravo made major announcements about the future of its programming slate at the NBC Upfronts on May 11, and although Season 1 of RHORI is still playing out, there was an update about the show during the event.

Is RHORI returning for Season 2?
Yes! Bravo announced at the NBC Upfronts that The Real Housewives of Rhode Island has been picked up for a second season.
“I think one of the reasons Rhode Island is so incredible is that the women’s self-awareness about being on the show is incredibly low,” Cohen previously told Deadline. “They are uniquely themselves and taking us along for the ride. That’s so important. There have been a lot of times where a housewife will join and all of a sudden you’re like, ‘Oh, man, she’s kind of studied this’. That’s what we try to avoid.”
When does RHORI Season 2 premiere?
A premiere date for Season 2 has not been confirmed yet. Season 1 filmed during summer 2025, so it’s likely that cameras will pick back up in just a couple of months and that the new episodes won’t drop until 2027.
For reference, Season 1 premiered on April 2, 2026, so we likely won’t see the new installment until next spring.
Who is in the RHORI Season 2 cast?
Bravo has not confirmed the cast members for Season 2 of RHORI yet.
The first season starred Alicia Carmody, Liz McGraw, Rosie DiMare, Kelsey Swanson, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Ashley Iaconetti, and Jo-Ellen Tiberi, with The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania in a “friend of” role.
Tiberi and Swanson both previously told TV Insider that they’d be interested in returning for a Season 2, while DiMare said, “I don’t know. We’ll have to see how the first season goes. It was a lot. Filming was a lot. Reliving it in confessionals at the time was a lot. But it was also a lot of fun.”
Before Season 1 aired, DiMare was “leaning towards yes,” but admitted, “I already know how certain people fel about me. I don’t necessarily need to hear that. So I don’t know if I can even watch the show.”
