What is Ted Lasso Season 4 about?
No logline has been unveiled yet, but for those who have yet to discover Ted Lasso, the series follows an American coach who is plucked to helm an English football team, AFC Richmond. Initially, Ted is hired with the hope that he’d fail, but his boss Rebecca ultimately warms to the Kansas-native’s charms as he turns her failing team into an optimistic bunch of players. It’s a real fish-out-of-water tale that’s resonated with viewers across tough times in recent years as the show debuted amid the pandemic in 2020.
Based on the preexisting format and characters from NBC Sports, Ted Lasso was developed into the series it is today by Sudeikis, Lawrence, Kelly, and Hunt. The series also garnered some serious acclaim in its first three seasons, winning several Emmys and other big-time TV awards.
