Benedict (Luke Thompson) babes, it’s our time! Benedict has officially stepped into the limelight as he searches for his happily ever after in Bridgerton Season 4. The first four episodes dropped on January 29, leaving viewers with quite a cliffhanger. So, when can we expect Part 2 to drop? We need those episodes imminently.
The first half of the season followed Benedict after his magical encounter with the mysterious Lady in Silver (ahem, Sophie) at his mother’s masquerade ball. After their magical night together, Benedict couldn’t shake the woman he crossed paths with. Benedict and Sophie (Yerin Ha) meet again, but Benedict has no idea that she’s the Lady in Silver. Slowly, these two begin to fall in love, especially after they spend time at My Cottage together. The end of Part 1 features Benedict and Sophie have a very steamy moment together just before Benedict asks Sophie to be… his mistress. (Awkward.)
Obviously, we need to know what happens next as soon as possible. TV Insider has all the latest updates about Part 2’s release, the future of the show, and more.
When is Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2 coming out?
Part 1 of Bridgerton Season 4 consists of four episodes. Part 1 will also include four episodes and will premiere on February 26, just under a month after Part 1’s premiere. Bridgerton took the split-season approach with Season 3, while the first two seasons were complete season drops.
Showrunner Jess Brownell has been honest about why there’s usually such a long wait between seasons. “We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film and then they have to be edited, and then they have to be dubbed into every language,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “And the writing takes a very long time as well, so we’re kind of on a two-year pace, we’re trying to speed up but somewhere in that range.”
She added, “I’m really excited about what we’re writing. We’re towards the end with the writers’ room season, with the scripts. And I feel like it’s some of my best work and my writers’ room’s best work. We’ve just really gelled our collaboration, and we’re firing on all cylinders, so I can’t wait for fans to see what we have.”
