Prime Video and MGM+’s Spider-Noir crawled its way out of the shadows and into the spotlight with a stylish debut packed with pulpy action, brutal betrayals, and one deeply broken hero trying to find his way back to redemption.

After watching Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage) Bogart his way through the mean streets of 1930s New York as a revamped version of Marvel’s beloved Spider-Man, now known as The Spider, audiences are already wondering whether the fedora-wearing vigilante will return for another season of black-and-white (or color! Your choice!) chaos.

So, will there be a Season 2? Here is everything we know so far about the sleuth with Spidey senses.

Will there be a Season 2?

As of the writing of this article, MGM+ and Prime Video have not officially announced or renewed Spider-Noir for a second season. However, executive producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller expressed interest in working on another season. Miller told The Hollywood Reporter that they “would be happy to do more,” while Lord added, “We are television producers. We’re not gonna say no.”

“One of the magical things about any private detective story is, if you want another story, all it takes is another client to knock on that door, and then comes a new set of cases, a new set of problems, and a new adventure to go on,” Creator and co-showrunner Uziel added. “So [it’s] conceived to be as many seasons as we want to go.”
