Marion to Selma Bicycle Ride set for February to raise money for bike paths

Black Belt organizations have come together to host a Marion to Selma Bicycle Ride in February to raise money for bicycle infrastructure in Marion and Selma.

The ride will take place on Feb. 20-21 and Marion and go 28 miles with tours, dinners and other special events.

Organizations include Blackbelt Benefit Group, the Conservation Fund, Main Street Marion, RC&D Association of Alabama, Alabama Black Belt Adventures and Montgomery Bicycle Club to bring bicyclists to historic Marion and Selma Alabama for a bicycle ride to commemorate the civil rights movement.

It takes place two days before the Selma to Montgomery Ride on Feb. 22.
