The City of Selma hosted a candlelight vigil on Sunday night at Riverfront Park to honor fallen officer Marquis Moorer and others who lost their lives to violence this year.
Dozens came to the vigil to say prayers for Moorer, who was killed in an ambush at his apartment on July 27. The suspect is a former Selma High School football star. Read more about that here.Â

conditions will result in critical fire weather conditions.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
