There are many stories about people running away and joining the circus. Gallion, Alabama's Warren Adams Bacon IV not only joined the circus, he influenced the circus world for years to come. This is the story of Warren Bacon, human cannonball and circus instructor who passed away in 2025. Black Belt News Network's Todd Prater talks to Jessica Hentoff, Bacon's circus student and friend for 50 years about Bacon.

The first time I met Warren he was wearing a T-shirt that said watch Out For Flying Children. Of course I had to ask and that led to a friendship of one of the most memorable fascinating people I have ever known. I miss his stories Fly high Warren ❤️
