Watch: Primary ballots for Black Belt voters
- Updated
- 0
Primary elections in Alabama are coming up May 19. May 12 is the last day to apply for an absentee ballot to mail, May 14 is the last day to apply for an absentee ballot in person and May 18 is the last day to hand-deliver an absentee ballot. All absentee ballots must be received by May 19. Primary runoff elections, if necessary, will be June 16. By Alabama law, if you vote in the runoff, you most vote in the same party you voted for in the primary election. If you didn’t vote in the primary election, you can choose either party’s ballot in the subsequent primary runoff election. Todd and Cindy talk about the primary election in this segment of the Black Belt Newscast.
