The City of Selma has received $4 million in grants to repave Old Orrville Road and several streets in Old Town. Two $2 million grants from the Delta Regional Commission were announced at the farewell reception for Mayor James Perkins Jr. Wednesday. The grants appear in the mayor’s report for the Selma City Council’s Oct. 28 meeting. Todd and Cindy talk about it in this segment of the Black Belt Newscast.
