The Selma-Dallas County Historic Preservation Society's 45th Annual Historic Selma Pilgrimage is slated to take place this Friday on March 15 and will go through the following day on March 20.Â
Many of the activities this year will be restricted due to the COVID pandemic. The event will feature an "Architecture and History Sidewalk Tour" of private homes, gardens, a church, a museum, and other buildings.Â

Most sites will be available for touring from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with Old Live Oak Cemetery tours going from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.Â
Vaughan-Smitherman Museum will be the tickets headquarters and will serve as the starting place of the pilgrimage. Others part of the event will be Heritage Village, First Baptist Church and Selma Art Guild where the photography exhibit of Ronald Ellis Nutt will be showcased.
Tickets are $25 and available on eventbrite.com or at the pilgrimage headquarters at 109 Union St. from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 334-412-8550 or visit SelmaPiligrimage.com.Â
