6 all-star teams from Troy to advance to world series tournaments in August

Six all-star baseball and softball teams from Troy will advance to several world series in August. 

The Troy 9U Rookie team will compete in the DYB Regional Rookie World Series in Texarkana, AR on July 16.

The Troy 6U Sweetees, the Troy 8U Darlings and the Troy 15U Belles will travel to Ruston, LA for the Dixie Softball World Series on July 25 while the Troy 8U Coach Pitch team will compete in the Diamond Youth Baseball 8U Coach Pitch World Series in Dunn, NC starting on the same day.

The Troy Majors will play in the DYB Majors World Series in Lexington, SC on July 31.

The 12U Rookie team won a state competition but will not advance to a world series, noted the City of Troy online.
