The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA) will host three webinars for communities seeking to expand their broadband infrastructure in response to what was called a "critical need for internet access".Â
ADECA plans to provide assistance through a "competitive" program titled the Alabama Community Broadband Technical Assistance Program in partnership with CTC Technology & Energy (CTC).Â
All three webinars will take place on June 30, beginning with Broadband 101 at 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. This will be led by Joanne Hovis, President of CTC.Â
Following this will be the Alabama Community Broadband Technical Assistance Program Webinar from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Afterwards will be the Federal Broadband Funding Webinar from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., led by Heather Mills, Vice President for Grant & Funding Strategies for CTC.Â
