The Alabama Association of Nonprofits will hold several workshops in Selma and Greensboro sponsored by the Black Belt Community Foundation and the Mike & Gillian Goodrich Foundation in August through September.Â
Topics to be discussed will be: grant writing, operations and board development, basic finances, and marketing and communications.
The workshops will be held on the following dates:Â
Aug. 23 – Writing a Successful Grant; Selma Dallas County Library
Sept. 26 – Board Development and Operations; Greensboro Opera House
Oct. 17 – Basic Finances; Greensboro Opera House
Nov. 15 - Marketing and Communications; Selma Dallas County Library
Workshops will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes lunch. There is no cost to register and attend.Â

The deadline to register is Aug. 18.Â
