The Alabama NAACP 72nd Annual State Convention is scheduled to be held in Huntsville on Sept. 26-29.Â
Topics at the convention will include community issues such as absentee voting, stopping gun violence and human rights among others.Â
This year's theme will be "Preserving Our Freedom, Voting, and Democracy".Â
The convention will be held at the Holiday Inn Research Park 5903 University Drive in Huntsville.
