Alabama Power reports 5,700 outages remaining in Dallas County

Power is almost back to most of Dallas County after a difficult recovery from Hurricane Zeta that hit last Wednesday night.

Alabama Power reports 5,700 outages for the Dallas County area as of 4 p.m. Monday and said additional lineworkers continue to flow into the county to help restore power as soon as possible.

Dallas County was hit hard by the storm and started out with 20,000 without power and 604,000 across the state without power.
