Annual Children's Patriotic Parade in Thomasville to kick off Hometown Celebration in June

The Annual Children's Patriotic Parade in Thomasville will kick off the Hometown Celebration on June 28 at 4:45 p.m. 

"This is a ton of fun for kids and families to come together and create some incredible designs in a festive and patriotic parade," said a post on social media by the Thomasville Alabama Chamber of Commerce. 

The parade does not allow gas powered vehicles but but bikes, strollers, wagons, battery operated cars, and similar are accepted. All vehicles can be decorated. 

Prizes of $75, $50 and $25 will be awarded to first, second and third place winners.

Sign up will be at the Dollar General Parking lot at 4:15 p.m. Lineup begins at 4:30 p.m. followed by the parade at 4:45 p.m. Pre-registration is not required.
