The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) and the State Bureau of Investigation are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect in the murder of a senior from Marion. 

A statement from ALEA identified Anastassja “Anya” Cooper, 32, as a person of interest after Jeffery Holifield, 68, was found dead in the 2000 Block of Onrow Tubbs Road. 

Cooper is described as a white female with brown hair, brown eyes, standing at 5’9” and weighing 216 pounds. She may also own or is traveling with a mixed breed dog named “Banana.”

Anyone who has information is asked to contact the SBI at 334-850-0910.
