A burst pipe and subsequent flooding in Luverne has led to the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to close down temporarily as repairs are made.

According to WAKA, the office is located on 29 East 3rd Street and customers are directed to use the office at 1606 Lee Street in Rutledge with identification to pick up post office box mail.

Their operating hours are Monday-Friday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Saturday at 8:15 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Regular delivery of mail and packages will continue as repairs progress.
