Students in K-12 classes are invited to take part in the City of Selma's flag design competition.

Students in private, public and home schools in the Selma district may participate in the competition to design an original flag featuring the city's seal.

Guidelines for design include using meaningful symbolism, basic colors, no lettering and avoid duplicating other flags.

The prize for winning is a class pizza party and public display of the flag.

Submissions can be done online here, scanning the QR code here, or pick up a paper form at the city clerk's office on 222 Broad Street.
