A community meeting regarding a proposed natural gas pipeline project across Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia will be held in Gallion on March 3.

The meeting will provide information on its potential impact on residents. Representatives from the Southern Environmental Law Center, Energy Alabama, and the Alabama Rivers Alliance will attend.

Anyone who has received letters about the pipeline are encouraged to bring them.

"These documents may help provide clarity and guidance during the discussion," said press release for the meeting.

Free food will be provided.

Those who need American Sign Language interpretation may contact Blackbelt Women Rising at 334-231-7050 for accommodations.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church on 12024 Highway 80.
