The Dallas County Lady Softball Team finished their 2022-2023 softball season with an impressive 13-9 record for the season.
The Lady Hornets played a doubleheader at Lagoon Park in Montgomery on May 11 against Handley Lady Tigers (14-0) and Bibb County Lady Choctaws (14-1).
The Lady Hornets Head Coach Ralph Brooks stated, “ I feel as if the season went well. I watched a team who took a major lost and had to learn new plays and placements on the field to become area runner ups and make it to the 2 round of playoffs. We had some great seniors as well as juniors step up and take that leadership role on the team to help us get this far. Overall, making it that far in the season, I couldn’t be prouder. Also, we are looking forward to an even better season next year with our younger upcoming players.”
