Dallas County pulls win against Wilcox Central on homecoming

Under the bright Friday night lights and a sea of green and white, the Dallas County High School Hornets delivered a thrilling 22–16 victory over the Wilcox Central Jaguars in their 2025 Homecoming game.
In a contest marked by momentum shifts and tough defensive stands, the Hornets fed off the energy of the home crowd to pull out a crucial win that had fans on their feet until the final whistle. Amari England, Devin Woods, Arjai Jones and Keithey Fry each found their way in the end zone to help secure the Hornets victory.Â

The Hornets head coach Darryl Watts stated, "I'm happy with the win, but I'm unsatisfied with our execution."
