Organizers of the Central Alabama Fair are asking for donations of formal dresses for Crowned with a Purpose, a pageant for girls with disabilities on Nov. 4. 

Formal dresses include pageant, homecoming, prom, bridesmaid, and similar outfits.

Anyone interested in donating or allowing a contestant to borrow a dress are asked to comment on this Facebook post with photos, sizes, and a short description of the outfits. 

"Your generosity can help a young girl feel like the princess she truly is on pageant night," said the post.

Donors can also privately message organizers on the Central Alabama Fair Facebook page.
