A 62-year-old woman from Eutaw died in a single-vehicle accident that took place on Interstate 59 on Saturday morning.Â
A report from the Alabama Law Enforcement identified the victim as Dawn M. Buckingham.Â
At approximately 9:50 a.m. the 2002 Ford F-150 pickup that she was driving left the road and went into an embankment before overturning. According to the report she was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle when it crashed. She was pronounced dead on the scene.Â
The accident occurred at the 45 mile marker, approximately five miles north of Eutaw.Â
