A body that was found in a creek in Autauga has been identified as a woman from Selma who went missing before being discovered on March 17.Â
According to the Montgomery Advertiser the deceased woman has been identified as Joyce Marie Ross.Â
She was reportedly found by people who were working on a railroad bridge at Mulberry Creek, located near the Autauga and Dallas County border.Â

Autauga and Dallas County authorities began coordinating in June, eventually leading to the Alabama Department Of Forensic Sciences confirming a DNA match.Â
