An indictment has been unsealed charging several individuals from Montgomery, Notasulga and Prattville with sex trafficking and related offenses.Â
The four from Montgomery have been identified as Kimani Jones, 30, Treymane Lambert, 48, and Aleecia Scott, 27. They are accused of using force, fraud and coercion to compel adult females into prostitution between August 2016 and November 2020, the indictment says.Â
Jones is accused of forcing two minors into prostitution at that time, as well as transporting one minor and one adult female across state lines for purposes of prostitution between November 2016 and January 2020.
Additionally, Joseph Keon Bowe, 37, of Notasulga is alleged to have used force, fraud and coercion to compel a minor into prostitution between August 2018 and March 2019.Â
Daryle Gardner, 30, of Prattville is charged with transporting an adult female for prostitution in January 2020.
If convicted all face a number of penalties, namely "substantial" prison time and mandatory restitution.Â
