Freedom Quilting Bee Legacy will host its Second Annual Juneteenth Celebration and Kids' Quilt Workshop on Saturday, June 22.Â
"As our quilters age, young people miss learning this art," says an advertisement for the event. "We aim to pass on this tradition so our children can become future artists and benefit from our heritage."Â
Children of ages three and over are invited to take care.Â
The event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Freedom Quilting Bee Legacy on 4295 County Road 29 in Alberta.Â
