The Board of Trustees at Jackson Hospital and Clinic in Montgomery has voted to recommend that corporate members approve an agreement with national affiliation and partnership company Humanity Corp.Â
An announcement made online said that Humanity Corp's purpose is to "bring healthcare to all segments of society, enable nonprofits to continue their mission, and ensure healthcare is safe for all patients."Â
Some healthcare agencies that Humanity Corp has affiliations with are Mayo Clinic, Capta Health Partners, and Presbyterian Healthcare Services.Â
"The Hospital and Board are excited to about this partnership opportunity, and the parties agree that continuing Jackson's commitment to quality health care through this affiliation is the best path forward for our community and those we serve," said a statement from the hospital.Â
