Jerria Martin was the recipient of the "Game Changer" award at the Selma and Dallas County Chamber of Commerce's recent Celebrating Women Shaping Our Community ceremony.

Martin is a minister and is a Board of Trustee member of the Black Belt Community Foundation of Alabama, as well as the Black Belt Community Development Coalition, Leadership Selma-Dallas County, Grow Selma, and One Selma.

"The Game Changer recipient is comfortable breaking the mold. This woman has been the impetus for new ideas that positively have influenced her community."
