Road closed II

Update: the road has been reported reopened. 

A multi-vehicle crash in Lowndes County caused a lane closure on Interstate 65 just before noon on Monday. 

A statement from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said that the right southbound lane of Interstate 65 near 154 mile marker in Lowndes County has been blocked for an unknown amount of time.

Troopers from ALEA are currently investigating the incident and are monitoring the situation.
