Lannie's Bar-B-Q Spot in Selma landed in a list by AL.com of restaurants to visit in a calendar for 2025.
The restaurant was noted for being under the ownership of four generations of family. It was started by Lannie and Will Travis in 1944 before growing into a respected business.Â
The 2023 tornado caused damage to the building, leading to it being torn down before reopening.Â
Highlighted were the pork plates, ribs, wings, catfish, cheeseburgers and the pulled pork sandwich.
The restaurant was included as a place to visit in July.Â
