Notice to Contractors Federal Aid ProjectNo. STPNU-2419(250) DALLAS COUNTY, ALABAMA

Sealed bids will be received by the Director of Transportation at the office of the Alabama Department of Transportation, Montgomery, Alabama until 10:00 AM on August 30, 2019 and at that time publicly opened for constructing the Widening, Resurfacing, and Traffic Stripe on CR-52 from the junction of CR-63 to the Autauga County Line. Length 2.075 mi.

The total amount of uncompleted work under contract to a contractor must not exceed the amount of his or her qualification certificate.

The Entire Project Shall Be Completed In Thirty (30) Working Days. A 3% DBE Contract Obligation Is Required.

A Bidding Proposal may be purchased for $5.00. Plans may be purchased for $4.00 per set. Plans and Proposals are available at the Alabama Department of Transportation, 1409 Coliseum Boulevard, Room E-108, Montgomery, AL 36110. Cashier’s check or bid bond for 5% of bid (maximum – $50,000.00) made payable to the Alabama Department of Transportation must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith.

The bracket range is shown only to provide general financial information to contractors and bonding companies concerning the project’s complexity and size. This Bracket should not be used in preparing a bid, nor will this bracket have any bearing on the decision to award this contract.

RIVERFRONT SPLASH PAD

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Riverfront Splash Padwill be received by the City of Selma, at Selma City Hall located at 222 Broad Street Selma, AL 36701, until 1:00 P.M. local time on Monday, September 16, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.  The Project consists of a new recirculating system splashpad on a new concrete pad, fine grading, erosion controls, concrete sidewalk, Bermuda sod and a 24×36 LWCF project sign, and related appurtenances.

A PRE-BID MEETINGis scheduled for Monday, September 9, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Selma City Hall located at 222 Broad Street Selma, AL 36701.  Attendance is not mandatory, but encouraged.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TEST WELL FOR THE NORTH DALLAS COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY

Sealed proposals will be received by the North Dallas County Water Authority (Owner), 7590 Alabama Hwy 22, Valley Grande, Alabama, until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, Wednesday, August 21, 2019, for a new Test Well at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

A cashier’s check or bid bond payable to the North Dallas County Water Authority in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00 must accompany the bidder’s proposal.  Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract.
