COUNTY OF DALLAS
NOTICE is hereby given that a bill substantially as follows will be introduced in the next session of the Legislature of Alabama and application for its passage and enactment will be made:
A BILL
TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
Relating to Dallas County; to ratify and confirm prior payments of compensation made in good faith to judges of probate of Dallas County.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
Section 1. This act shall apply only in Dallas County.
Section 2. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, any payment of compensation made in good faith to a judge of probate of Dallas County prior to the effective date of this act is hereby ratified and confirmed, and that judge of probate is authorized to retain any funds received as part of that payment.
Section 3. This act shall become effective immediately following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
