The City of Livingston will host its 7th Annual Christmas on the Square event in the downtown area on Dec. 8 starting at 1:30 p.m. 

The event will feature vendors, inflatables for kids, a showing of "The Polar Express" at the UWA Cinema with free entry, and live music from Sadie McClendon.

Downtown stores and restaurants will be open with specials and there will be a performance from the UCS band at the Bored Well.

A parade will be led by Livingston Fire Department, Livingston Police Department, Sumter County Sheriff's Department, UWA Police Department, and will end with a grand finale entry of Santa Claus and his elf.
